Floy Faye Hudgins, 86, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, November, 5, 2025. She was born June 18, 1939 in Cabot to the late Elmer Floyd and Edith Pearl Caldwell Witcher. Faye graduated from Cabot High School. She went to attend the University of Central Arkansas in Conway where she earned both her Bachelors and Master's degrees in Education. After thirty-three years of service, Faye retired from teaching in the Cabot Public Schools.  She was also involved in Extension Homemakers Club, Arkansas Retired Teachers Association and the United Methodist Women's Organization. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hudgins and sisters, Inez Strayhorn and Betty Thurman.

Left to cherish her memory and to miss her dearly are her children, Brian Hudgins (Theresa) and Cindy Sparks (Bart); two grandchildren, Huntere Hudgins and Austin Hudgins; siblings, Sue Henrichs, Wanda Gibson, Frank Witcher, Dwight Witcher and Brenda Nettles, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Old Austin United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Old Austin Cemetery.  Visitation will 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2025 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.
