Floyd Jerome Carmical, Jr., 63, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  He was born January 20, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Floyd Jerome Carmical, Sr. and Mary Jane Ash Carmical.  Floyd never met a stranger and was loved by so many people.  He was always the life of the party.  When he played, he played hard and when he worked, he worked hard.  He enjoyed hunting, but most of all he loved being around his family.  Anyone who knew him, knew that his family came first.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Carmical and Myra Gayle Sykes and brother, Tommy Carmical.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy; children, Brandi Carmical, Amanda Britt, Blaze Carmical and Christina Brubaker; six grandchildren, Cache Hendrix, Carter Hendrix, Audrey Belden, Nicholas Belden, Hayden Brubaker and Audrina Brubaker; sister, Beth Hodges; brothers, Clifton, George and Joe Carmical and many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 6, 2021 at CrossRoads Cowboy Church in El Paso with Brother Ron Riddle officiating.  Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville.  Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
