Fran Henry Wooldridge, 83, of Cabot, went to her heavenly home June 29, 2026. Her life began August 19, 1942 in Marked Tree to the late Frank and Beaulah Richmond Verdict. She met Dewan Henry and they were married from 1962 until his death in 1984. Fran loved to travel and her adventures took her to the Holy Land, to Rome, Italy, on two Alaskan cruises, a Caribbean cruise and a Hawaiian cruise. She also had three bus trip adventures where she made friends and learned to play Mexican Dominos. Fran and her six friends played the game every Tuesday. She loved her friends and even started a Red Hat Society Group in Cabot. Another of her favorite pastimes was dancing. She met her second husband, Jim Wooldridge, at a dance. They loved to dance and travel together. Some of their trips took them to Mount Rushmore, Niagara Falls, Hershey, Pennsylvania and they even drove to Alaska when she was 72. Fran loved God and her church. She served God for twenty-three years in the childcare ministry as a Sunday School teacher and director. She found great joy in children. In addition to her parents, Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Dewan Henry; a brother and four half-siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory and to miss her dearly are her children, Teresa "Dee" Herrold (Randy) and Cragg Dewan Henry (Deletha); husband, Jim Wooldridge; five wonderful grandchildren, Jonathan Herrold (Dabney), Chelsey Herrold, Aaron Dewan Henry (Emily), Shay Crawford (Caleb) and Ty Henry (Gabby); great-grandchildren, Luke, Charleigh, Brayden, Case, Haisley, Brenlee, Madalyn, Brantley, Beaux, Josie, Bradley and RaeLynn, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Matt Caton officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour before the service at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
