Frank Eldon Trent, 80, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025.  He was born April 6, 1945 in Portland, Oregon to the late Albert Lucus and Doris Cecilia (Forney) Trent.  Frank was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Ward.  His love of flying and aircraft started at a young age when he flew radio-controlled planes. His military career would continue that passion. Frank proudly served four years in the United States Air Force and four and a half years in the United States Army from which he was honorably discharged as a Chief Warrant Officer III.  During his time in the military, he flew the Chinook and other Army helicopters. After his military career, he worked at Remington for twenty years making eight-gauge kiln guns.  In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley, playing horseshoes and giving kids rides on his pony cart on Sundays. Frank was a member of the American Legion Post 71. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Lynn Trent, James C. Trent and Ronald Trent.

Survivors include his wife, Nina; children, David Matthew Trent, Shawna Rainelle Trent, Wayne Trent (Starrlynn), James Lucus Trent (Lisa) and Cecilia Trent; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Holly Gordon (Jim), Darrell Ray Trent and David LeRoy Trent (Sue), as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2025 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Charity Baptist Church in Ward with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Cabot.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
