Garry J. (JR) Prater, Jr., 46, of North Little Rock, made his heavenly journey December 25, 2021.  He was born July 9, 1975 in North Little Rock to Garry Prater, Sr. and Linda (Sorter) Prater.  J.R. was a good, hard-working, Christian man who loved Jesus, his family and the Dallas Cowboys.  He loved to play sports and help coach his son's baseball team through PAL.  J.R. also loved to grill while spending time with his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of nineteen years, Jamie Prater; their thirteen year old son, Colin; parents, Garry and Linda Prater, Sr.; sister, Cinda Lee and many other family members and friends.  J.R. is already missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.  Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Vernon, Jonathan Melton, Juan Perez, Jeremy Rowland, Kody Duncan and Shelby Hunter.
