Gary Newell Page, 65, of Cabot, passed from this life while surrounded by his loved ones, on Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was born September 18, 1955 in Little Rock to Newell Page and Geraldine Page Cook. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Lindy Cook.
Gary lived his entire life in Cabot. He retired in 2019 from Dassault Falcon Jet in Little Rock as an interior finisher. He was an all-around handyman and was known for painting almost every house in Central Arkansas. He enjoyed traveling and the great outdoors, always most content at a campsite. He loved keeping up with the Razorbacks and was an active member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Cabot. Apart from all of this, the greatest joy of Gary's life was his family, especially being "Papa" to his nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Gary was never seen without his smile and was known far and wide for his unconditional kindness.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane Page; children, Jasen Page, Somer McClellan, Makenna Torres (Louis), Lori Cooper (Mark), Mark Binns, and Kristen Staton (Matt); grandchildren, Carlton (Emmarie), Jayleigh (Luke), Dylan, Madison, Hana, Shaylin, Tyler, Torrance, Blanca, Layla, Ryan, Gavin, Mason, Amelia, Aysa, Eli, Rylee Jo, Everlee, and Jude; great-grandchildren, Emersyn and Braylon; father, Newell Page (Linda); sisters, Vickie Williamson, Faye Page, Carolyn Allen, Diane Mooney, Lori Stidham and Sandy Hunter (Troy); brothers, Danny Page and Newell Page (Kari); in-laws, Fred and Mavis Laster and Sandra Binns, a host of extended family and friends, and his faithful furry companion, Rosie.
Endless gratitude to the ALS Clinic at UAMS, Arkansas Hospice, and the ALS Association of Arkansas support group. Donations can be made in memory of Gary to: ALS Association of Arkansas, 1200 W. Walnut St., Suite 2406-08, Rogers, AR 72756 or ALS-Arkansas.org.
