Obituary

Gay Ann Turbyfill, 68, of Benton went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 21, 2025. She was unexpectedly joined in heaven by her sister, Kristal Renee Rogers, 66, of Cabot on October 4, 2025. Gay and Kristal were born to Garland L. and Billie J. (Bright) Blacklock. Gay was born on January 28, 1957 and was joined by Kristal a short two years later on March 19, 1959. They were preceded in death by their father Garland L. Blacklock and step-father, Robert Hibbard. They are survived by their mother, Billie Hibbard of Benton; sisters Sherry Stone of Benton and Debbie Trimble also of Benton.

Mrs. Turbyfill spent many years working in healthcare. Her favorite position was with CareLink working as a home health aide. She loved the people she was able to care for and they loved her back. She enjoyed watching college football, reading and in her younger years going dancing at the Electric Cowboy. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Trasten Turbyfill and daughter, Hollie Ward. She will always be remembered for her devotion as a mother, daughter, sister and caregiver.

Mrs. Rogers also spent many years working in the medical field as a Neuro Technician. She loved helping people in their time of need, often walking them through whatever illness they had. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and traveling as well as spending time with her pets, Josie and Poppy. Survivors include a devoted husband of thirty-four years, Mike Rogers; children, Austin Rogers, Travis Rogers, Kim (Billy) Wallace and Sean (Beth) Rogers; along with six grandchildren. Her devotion to her family, friends and the patients she served will live on in her absence.

There are no words to express how profound the loss of Gay and Kristal has been, but the lives they touched and the memories they made will continue to bring peace and comfort to all who knew them.
