Geneva Lee (Davis) Jones, 89, of Cabot, met her Lord, husband, son and great-grandson on Friday, March 21, 2025.  She was born May 25, 1935 in Huntsville to the late Charles Harrison and Ella Mae (Gabbard) Davis.  Geneva was a member of Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church for many years.  She loved her Lord and her family very much. Among her many talents were her piano and accordion playing.  She played numerous places including Springdale radio, the Veteran's hospital in Fayetteville, the auditorium in Eureka Springs for the Old Folks Festival, as well as many years in church while she was growing up.  Geneva was a member of the American Legion and AARP local chapter.  She was an excellent seamstress making all of her square dance dresses and even owning a square dance apparel shop for many years.  Her hobbies kept her very busy and ranged anywhere from crafting, crocheting, cross-stitching, embroidery, jewelry to bowling, fishing, camping and genealogy.  In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband of sixty precious years, Noah Eugene Jones; son, Bobby Gene; great-grandson, Owen Noah Alain Jones; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lena Law (Clymer) and Sarah Yarbrough (Roy) and brother, Charles Alfred "Peanut" Davis.

Those left to cherish her memory and to miss her dearly are her grandsons, Christopher Jones (Tina) and Cory Jones (Amber); daughter-in-law, Stacy Jones; great-grandchildren, Remi, Logan and Liam Jones, Onaliea Jones and Lavana May Butler; sister-in-law, Sue Davis, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church in Ward. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m., at the church with interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
