George Henry Schwab, III, 65, of Austin, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born September 16, 1955 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late George and Margorie (Sandford) Schwab, II. George proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty years. Following his military service, he began a career in law enforcement, which lasted for twenty-one years. George was the first Resource Officer at Cabot Public Schools and was fondly known as "Pop Schwab." He enjoyed coaching basketball and softball. George was a good man, a man of few words, generous and he loved his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother-in-law and father-in-law.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ingrid Schwab; daughter, Katrina Schwab; sons, George (Airiell) Schwab IV, Keenan (Angie Cole) Payne and Dillon Schwab; sisters, Debbie Delaney-Schwab and Patty (Wayne) Howely; five grandchildren, David Zukowski, Nathan Zukowski, Thea Schwab, Ruby Schwab and Dailen Payne and many nieces and nephews.
