George Dewayne Shirley, 53, of Floral, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 18, 2024. He was born April 5, 1971 in Conway to George and Judy (Copeland) Shirley. George enjoyed the outdoors, especially working in his yard, fishing, tending to his animals and anything "Maw" wanted to do.  In addition to the outdoors, he had a deep love for music of almost any kind. George will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He gave of himself and anything he had selflessly to anyone in need. Mr. Shirley was preceded in death by his father, Geroge Shirley and daughter, Destiny Starns.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Crystal "Maw" Shirley; mother, Judy Shirley; children, Adela (Frankie), Kalie and Christian; grandchildren, Evan and David Dewayne; siblings, Billy Shirley (Stevi) and Tina Lotz (Jeremy); nieces, Mia Drew, Mia James and Brittany (Bobby Ray); nephew, Mason; pets, Stitch "Son", CeCe and Wyatt; along with a host of extended family and dearly loved friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Watson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service of Cabot, 501-941-7888.
