Glen Joe Matlock, 67, of Cabot, AR, passed away on October 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted husband, father, grandpa, and friend, Glen touched the lives of all who knew him with his kindness, humor, and generous spirit.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Geraldine Matlock; his sister, Donna; and many beloved aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his spouse, Chip Hankins; son, Nathan Matlock; daughter, Candi (Kevin) Ussery; stepdaughter; stepson, David (Mary) Hankins; ten cherished grandchildren, Rayanna, Jase, Hadley, Holden, Walker, Sophia, Camilla, Natalie, Hazel and Watie and sister, Judy McManus (Kenneth).

Glen lived life on the go. He loved bowling, singing and playing the piano and organ, caring for animals on his farm, and most of all, spending time with friends and family. His mischievous humor, love of travel and camping, and ability to brighten a room will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Please join us in celebrating Glen's life at a memorial service on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM at: The Community Place 2102 S. 2nd St, Cabot, AR 72023. As this is a celebration of Glen's life, we ask that you wear fun, bright colors in his honor. Let's remember him with joy, laughter, and love—just the way he would have wanted.
