Gloria Jean Brown, 92 of Cabot, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was born on Friday, May 20,1932 in Homberg, Illinois to the late Loy Cecil and Elsie Marie Gibson King. She was a Pastor's wife, a homemaker, a self-employed dietitian and a prayer warrior for family and friends. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otto Jackson Brown; her brothers-in-law, Captain David S. Hunsicker, CHC, USN (Ret), Bill Bell and a son-in-law, Gary Glover. Gloria is survived by her children, Becky and husband, Bruton Blackard, Bobbie and husband, David Glover and Bruce and wife Cookie Brown; two sisters, Joan and husband Jack Lester, Barbara Bell; nine grandchildren and families: Drew, Hope, Anabelle, Sophie, Maddox and Reagan Glover, Daniel, Laura, Morgan, and Tatum Glover, D.J., Shelby and Elijah Glover, Chad, Stephanie, Noah and Millie Glover, Rachel, Jason, Luke, Samuel and Jack Barber, Stephanie, Ben, Gracie and Sarah Ford, Mathew Brown, Michael, Kinsey, Otto and Wesley Brown, Meagan Brown; step- grandchildren Julie and Tracy Prince and Brant and Kayla Blackard along with extended family, Rita and Doyle Mills and their children and grandchildren. Funeral services for Gloria will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Cabot with interment to follow in Rest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
