Harold Lloyd Horton, 89, of Mayflower, went to be with the Lord Monday, October 2, 2023. He was born August 7, 1934 in Lonoke to the late Jess Edward and Delia Holmes Horton. Upon graduation, Harold joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for twenty-four years, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant.  During his military career he served in both the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict.  Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, especially flowers, however, he loved camping and taking trips in his RV with his wife, Robbie, to the desert in Yuma, Arizona.  His yard and home on the lake in Mayflower were his pride and joy.  He also loved watching football and was a diehard Razorback fan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie Weaver Horton; his daughter, Melissa Horton and his brothers, Joe and Don Horton.

Harold is survived by his children, Keith Horton of Austin and Cindy McNerlin of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Dustin McNerlin, Tiffany McNerlin, Hannah Horton and Makenzie Horton.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Interment will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
