Ina "Polly" Pauline Farris, 87, of Cabot, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025.  She was born December 28, 1937 in Cabot to the late John R. and Nettie Baker Mize.  Ms. Polly was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Being a military family for twenty-three years, she and her husband, Charles, and their daughter, spent a lot of time traveling, including four years overseas. She enjoyed traveling while overseas and experiencing new people and cultures.  Back in the United States, they continued to travel across the country in their RV.  Ms. Polly was a lovable lady and found great joy in hosting large family gatherings, especially during the holidays.  She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice V. Tanner and brother, Ricky W. Mize.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-nine years, Charles E. Farris; daughter, Kimberly M. Griffin (Leslie); granddaughter, Tasheena M. Griffin; grandsons, Dylan L. Adams and Zachary T. Adams; sisters, Mavis L. Laster and Betty Pezzullo, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Rich Hamlin officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
