Itsu Yamane McGloflin, 94, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026. She was born November 10, 1931, in Sapporo, Japan, to the late Masashige and Taka Yamane, and was the fifth of nine children. She married her husband, Charles, on January 22, 1964, in Japan while he was serving in the United States Air Force. Later that year, they moved to the United States, and Itsu became a U.S. citizen on May 1, 1969. She faithfully supported Charles throughout his 21-year Air Force career and his 20-year career as a teacher and coach at Cabot High School. Itsu was of the Buddhist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles Wendell McGloflin, and her eight siblings.

Itsu is survived by her brother-in-law, Joe McGloflin; her nephews, Joe McGloflin, Jr. and Bill Miller; her niece, Connie Wolf and her great-nephews, Caleb and Cory Miller and Audie Wolf. She.  is survived by many cousins. She is also survived by her cousin, Donna Rodriguez and special friends, including Linda Dow, Toki, Michi, Kazua, Linda M. and the Wendell Street Birthday Bunch.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2026, with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.
