C. was a very kind Christian man and was always willing to help everyone. He was a longtime member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. After retiring, he began writing a book about his Army experiences, specifically for his descendants so they would know what their grandfather experienced in the Army. Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Bobbye; daughters, Nancy Marsh and Connie Boullie; grandsons, Clinton Boullie and Cliff Marsh; one great grandson, J. C. Marsh; one brother, Lawrence Griffin; one sister, Loetta Bradford (Will) and numerous nieces and nephews.
