James (Jim) Charles Bledsoe, 69, of Cabot, died Friday, November 20, 2020. He was born February 28, 1951 in Coffeyville, Kansas to the late Charley and Oneta Ford Bledsoe. Jim was a very active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cabot where he served as an Elder, President of the Congregation and on many committees. He was formerly a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Panama City, Florida. Jim's entire working career was in some aspect of the automotive industry.  He owned his own gas station, was a body shop manager for several different dealerships and independent body shops, and retired in 2016 after a 20 year career with Geico as an insurance adjuster.  Jim loved fishing and had just recently begun to fish regularly with his buddy, Payton Taylor.  He enjoyed traveling and seeing the sights of this great country with his wife, Terry.  Jim also loved spending quality time with family and friends.  He will be missed by so many.  In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by two brothers, Dean Bledsoe and Mike Bledsoe.

Jim is survived by his wife, Terry Coleman Bledsoe; children, Will Coleman of Cabot, Lisa Atwood of Abington, Illinois and Lori Woods of Hillsboro, Missouri; siblings, Bob (Carol) Bledsoe of Strafford, Missouri, and Jane (Mike) Maher of Springfield, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Jane Helen Bledsoe; eight grandchildren, Tiara Likes, David Nagle, Becky Likes, Beth Likes, Heather Grubbs, Brittany Gabbard, Destiny Gabbard and Ciera Rote; two great-grandchildren, Teary Bey and Miah Bey, and a host of other family and friends.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. The family suggests donations in memory of Jim Bledsoe to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 301 S.
