James Michael Dennis, 78, of Cabot, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021.  He was born June 29, 1943 in Marion, Ohio to the late Francis Eugene and Josephine Howard Dennis.  Mike proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  He was an electronics technician for McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Company for over forty years and also sub-contracted with the military for building and maintaining radar systems.  Mike loved fishing with his grandchildren, was an avid Star Trek fan and always had a project going.  He read his Bible every day.  Mike will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Jamie Michelle Dennis; son, James Michael Dennis, Jr. and sister, Vivian Dennis.

Survivors include his daughters, Yvonne Trent of Cabot and Elizabeth Wardwell of North Little Rock; son, Matt Dennis of Cabot; seven grandchildren, Rochelle Grotjohn, James Trent, Jeffrey Trent II, Travis Trent, Jamie Dennis, Dakota Dennis-Basham and Lance Basham; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Jacquelyn Printz and Patricia Thompson and many extended family members and friends.
