James Wallace Richardson, 77, of Ward, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020. He was born August 13, 1942 in Shelbyville, Tennessee to the late Alden and Iris Wortham Richardson.  In his childhood he attended school in many states, but graduated in 1960 from Jacksonville High School. James was a veteran of the United States Air Force and Arkansas Air National Guard retiring as a Lt. Colonel with thirty-six years of combined service. He owned his own CPA practice in Cabot for forty-five years.

James is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Janet Howell Richardson, of Ward; his beloved beagle, "Gigi" and hundreds of friends from all over.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816 with 1:00 inurnment at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.  Visitation will be begin one hour prior to the service.  The family suggests donations made in memory of James Richardson to Cabot Animal Shelter, 2951 S. 1 ^st St., Cabot, AR  72023.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
