James Carl Tompkins, 85, of Cabot, passed from this life Friday, December 6, 2024. He was born October 10, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Luther Franklin and Josephine Ann Tompkins. Mr. Tompkins was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Tompkins in 2010; brothers, Ed Tompkins, Paul Tomkins, L.C. Tompkins, Joe Tompkins and sister, Margie Kelly.

Survivors include his children, Rebecca Ann Larkin of Little Rock, James Scott Tompkins of Cabot; grandchildren, Daniel Bellard and Sierra Tompkin; sister, Vera Gray of Jacksonville, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
