Obituary

Jane (Janie) Anne (Jesuit) Fosler walked through heaven's gates on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, after a lengthy fight (eight years) with cancer. She was born September 17, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois.

Jane was a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandma, aunt and friend. Jane was an active member at Our Savior Lutheran Women's Missionary League and Tuesday Morning ladies Bible study. She was able to work her dream job at Arkansas Children's Hospital for 15 years. She loved God, caring for her family and grandchildren, reading James Patterson books, watching birds, helping others, gardening and baking. Janie was preceded in death by her parents, David Frederick Jesuit and Jean Frances (Fath) Jesuit; her son, Michael George Fosler, Jr.; brother, Joseph John Jesuit; brothers-in-law, Paul Barcus, Sr. and Frank Mowbray, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Michael George Fosler, her sweetheart of 44 years. They relocated in 1995 from Indiana due to Mike's military career. They raised two lovely daughters, Angela Jean (Kris) Lehrke and Megan Ellen Fosler, both of Cabot; granddaughters, Haley (Matthew) Lesley of Colombia, South Carolina, Madalyn Lehrke (Jonathan Zapf) of Cabot; grandsons, Kristian, Lance and William Lehrke of Cabot; sisters, Elaine (Chalmer) Howard of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Karen Mowbray and Holly Jesuit, both of Monterey, Indiana; brothers, David (Brenda) Jesuit of Grovertown, Indiana, Steven (Gayle) Jesuit of Monterey, Indiana, Patrick (Angela) Jesuit of Knox, Indiana, Jason (Michelle) Jesuit of Knox, Indiana, Anthony (Staci) Jesuit and Justin Jesuit, both of Indiana; aunt, Lorraine Ridgway of Knox, Indiana and uncle, John (Diane) Fath of Mokena, Illinois as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Some thoughts Jane wanted to leave with you:

Our simple words addressed to God are like music to His ears. God wants us to call on Him for any reason at any time.

Illness can take my body but never the life Jesus gave me. The Lord Jesus has been good to me. I now get to live with Him forever.

While I may no longer be here on earth, I am in your heart. Love the Lord, we will see each other again.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 with funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cabot with Pastor Mike Edwards officiating.
