Janice Griffin Lambert, 84, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026. She was born April 1, 1941 in Little Rock to the late Horace and Oueda Bearden Morris. Mrs. Lambert loved mornings on her porch in Cabot with her coffee and flowers. She enjoyed family gatherings at the lake house on Harris Brake and the small joyful moments that made life meaningful. Her love is carried forward in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, each of them are a living testament to her devotion, her care and her heart. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Ray Griffin and her later husband, Ray Lambert; a brother, Jimmy Morris and brother-in-law, Gordon Palmer.

Mrs. Lambert is survived by her children, Debby Herring (Bryant) of Spivey's Corner, North Carolina, Angie Smith (Leslie) of Perryville, Kelly Griffin of Perryville and Jimmy Griffin (Jennifer) of Rocklin, California; grandchildren, Adam Herring, John Mark Herring, Parker Smith, Kyle Weeks, Blake Griffin and Olivia Griffin; great grandchildren, Reese Herring, Allie Herring and Tristan Weeks as well as a sister, Marilyn Palmer and sister-in-law, Peggy Morris.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026 in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
