Jennifer Lynn
Rainwater
Feb 7, 1950 — Jul 6, 2026
Jennifer Lynn Rainwater, 76, of Cabot, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026. She was born February 7, 1950 in Pine Bluff to the late James and Jean Harrington Ginnett. The role she was most proud of was Meemaw. If you met her within the past 30 years, she probably told you to call her by that name. Meemaw was always there-physically and figuratively. Ballgames. Award ceremonies. Tournaments. Presentations. Appointments. Luncheons. Shopping dates. Nail appointments. You name it- if you needed a companion, an opinion or a word of advice she was your go to person. Her advice was always Godly and her spirit was always calming. Meemaw loved to spend time with her family and no matter the activity, destination, or outcome we always made sure to make the best of it and laugh. Traveling and seeing new things and adventures were great but she was always up for ANOTHER trip to Disney.
She loved watching the Hogs play any sport - football, basketball, baseball, softball. Meemaw had visited 13 Major League Baseball stadiums. But her favorite sports were the ones her kids, grandkids and great grandkids were playing. She was the biggest fan of the Cabot Panthers, Abundant Life Owls, Henderson State Reddies, Ouachita Tigers, Utica Blue Sox, Cabot Yankees, Maximum Impact, and countless recreational basketball, swim, softball, and baseball teams over the past 45 years. She logged countless innings, quarters, meets, rounds, laps, and halves in the stands cheering on her favorite athletes through some of the harshest of weather, across some of the longest miles, watching many sunsets, and sun rises, but it was what she wanted to do with her life as she was pouring into the lives of not only her blood but those she had made her family on the hardwood, diamond, course, track or turf.
Jennifer spent over 37 years dedicated to Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts where she served as the Controller. In any company there is one person who gets all the calls/questions that no one else knows what to do with-that was Jennifer! Her first job out of college was at 555 Auto Parts. Little did she know that over the next 40+ years she would see sales, mergers, and acquisitions that would lead her to spending her life contributing to the company she walked into as a very young lady. She loved the work she did and she loved the people she worked for and with. She felt a sense of pride and ownership in the company and always felt it a privilege to be a part of the BTB family. She always said she was 'blessed and couldn't ask for better people.'
Above all Jennifer loved her Lord. She was a prayer warrior! She loved her music. She played the piano and picked around on the guitar and the fiddle. Every Sunday morning she put on her own concert before church! She was born and raised in the Double Wells community in Jefferson County and attended church there while living there. Jennifer was a proud founding member of A Place Called Grace AKA Grace Community in Ward. She was a member of the praise band and the Pastoral Advisory Team. She was a current member of NLC Cabot. Above all else, she was a faithful woman who always lead from the heart and lived for the Lord. There is a hole in our world today, but the Lord has an awesome new assistant!
In addition to her parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Kyle Rainwater and an infant brother. She is survived by her daughter, Ashliegh Stanley (Marc); two grandchildren, Andrew Reynolds (Pete) and Molly Stanley; two great-grandchildren, Marc Reynolds and Murphy Reynolds, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
