Jesse Eugene Smith, 95, of Ward, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022.  He was born September 22, 1927 in Ward, Arkansas to the late Jesse and Minnie Lightfoot Smith.  Jesse was a United States Army veteran from the 1950's.  He could fix anything and he especially enjoyed tinkering and fixing cars and lawnmowers as a hobby.  Jesse was a welder by trade and used his vocation to build trailers.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Sirratt, Lucille Ulsperger and Mary Wright and his brothers, John Lloyd Smith, James Smith and George Smith.

Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Williams (Bob) of Bradford, Arkansas; grandchildren, Israel Williams and Tina Williams; brother, Gary Smith of San Antonio, Texas, and numerous extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Old Austin Cemetery.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
