Jody Ann Massie, 63, of Cabot, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, July 23, 2023 after battling Alzheimer's disease for several years. She was born December 21, 1959 in Bell Gardens, California. Jody loved the Lord and served in ministry for many years.  She was a member of The Well Church. She was a Certified Medical Coder and Auditor. Jody loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who called her "Gee". She was the best "Gee" ever. Jody loved to cook and bake and was known for her pancakes and Snickerdoodle cookies.  She loved to decorate and always made the holidays special.  Jody was preceded in death by John Burling and Gary Joe Dalton.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Jamie (Dawayne) Baltezor, Brian (Mandi) Massie and Kaitlyn (Josh) Spill, all of Cabot; grandchildren, Cody Bain, Logan Bain, Ethan Bain, Chloe Baltezor, Lincoln Baltezor, Ava Massie, Emma Massie, Silas Massie, Judah Spill, Violet Spill and Hayes Spill; her mother, Florence Evans Burling; sisters, Ginger (Don) Cheatham, Tamara (Steve) Collins and Connie (Ron) Pickard and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation for Jody will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, also at the funeral home, with Thomas Baldridge, Brian Massie and Pastor Ronald Denton speaking. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery with Pastor Brian King speaking.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. .
