John Wesley Withers, 60, of Ward, passed away Friday, August 23,2024. He was born November 3, 1963 in Monroe, Louisiana. He served his country in the Army National Guard. Mr. Withers worked for Stone Container and later for Remington Arms. John loved spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He had a passion for collecting deer horns and all things antique. His greatest love however was his children and grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his father; brother, Don Michael Withers; grandmother, Ludie Smith; cousin, Rhonda Heathcock and a dear family friend, Juanita Fulks.

Mr. Withers is survived by his children, Britney Bolen (Terry) of Pooler, Georgia and Chase Wesley Withers (Lacey) of Ward; grandchildren, Brinleigh Bolen, Drew Bolen and Wyatt Wesley Withers; mother, Ann Pummill; father-figure, Holice Fulks; companion, Dennie Kay Chandler; siblings, Ricky Withers, Nancy Moore (Clay), Paula Withers Daniel; nieces and nephews, Aisha Withers, Coby Withers, Nathaniel Moore, Landon Geater, Layden Geater and Luke Geater as well as a host of extended family and friends that loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2024 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with interment following at Antioch Cemetery in Beebe.  Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
