Joseph Vernon Hill, Jr., known to his loved ones as Joey, passed away April 6, 2024 in North Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 44.  He was born December 12, 1979 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Joseph Vernon Hill, Sr. and Mary Theresa Sweeney Hill.

Joey was a loving and dedicated individual with a "fight till death" attitude.  He had a passion for fast engines, hikes, four-wheeling and guns.  His career as a mechanic allowed him to indulge in his love for working with engines.

Family was paramount to Joey.  He is survived by his father, Joseph Vernon Hill, Sr.; mother, Mary Theresa Hill; sister, Jennette Nicole Ryder; brother, Jonathan Christopher Hill; son, Gabriel Kaine Hill; daughter, Ciera Jane Hill; fiancé, Dora Linhart; stepsons, Timothy and Hunter Linhart; step-daughter, Kailey Linhart and numerous extended family members from both his maternal and paternal sides.

Joey's educational journey took him through St. Anthony's, Schafer, Sylvan Hills and Tinker Elementary for primary school; Rancho and Cabot High for his high school education and Pulaski Tech for higher education in mechanics.

Joey will be remembered for his zest for life, his love for his family and his unwavering dedication to his passions.  He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  May his soul rest in peace.
