Juanita Guess Barger, 88, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025.  She was born November 7, 1936 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Sawyers Mills and Charity Doolin Mills.  Juanita's family was her life.  She cherished every moment spent with them and loved them dearly. She found great joy in living in Cabot and the Mountain Springs Community.  Juanita was a long-time member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, shopping (she couldn't resist a sale) and she was a good baker.  She was an avid storyteller and the family "historian". In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husbands, Doyle Eugene Guess, Sr. and Lawrence Barger; son, Doyle Eugene Guess, Jr. and sisters, Geraldine Disney, Bessie Hall and Fran White.

Those left to cherish her memory and to miss her dearly are her daughter, Sherry Guess Kwiatkowski; her brother, Carl Turner; six grandchildren, Shannon Jones (Greg), Adrian Kwiatkowski, Jennifer Brennan, Andrea Kwiatkowski, Jonathan Kwiatkowski and Sarah Davy (Brian); nine great-grandchildren, Danica Yates (Jeff), Sierra Williamson (Jonathan), Connor Wortham, Cameron Kwiatkowski, Kyle Brody, Edwin Ayars, Kamy Wortham, Brian Davy, Jr. and Raiden Davy; one great-grandson, Cash Yates, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2025 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Mountain Springs Cemetery.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
