Julie Mae Pipkin, 71, of Cabot passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023. She was born February 29, 1952 to the late Jessie James and Bessie Mae Farris Stivers. Mrs. Pipkin was a member of McArthur Assembly of God and devoted to learning scripture. She loved to travel, especially in the fall to see the colors; but Christmas was her favorite time of year. She loved the decorations, the movies and the spirit of Christmas. She enjoyed sewing and made many of her own clothes as a young woman. Yard work and her vegetable garden were hobbies, as well as playing poker, music, cooking and her dogs. Her greatest passion was taking care of her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pipkin was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Pipkin; granddaughter, Carolee Douglas; great grandson, Joseph "Wren" Pancoast and siblings, Danny, Bub, Jerrell, Jane, John and Juanita.

Mrs. Pipkin is survived by her step-son, Dennis Harbison of Cabot; daughters, Kelly Pipkin of Clarksville, Billi Douglas (J.D.) and Crystal Busby (Brett), both of Cabot; grandchildren, Jo Anna Miller (Josh), Hanna Pancoast (Michael), Blake Busby, Katie Douglas, Emma Hicks (Cameron), Braden Busby, Leah Harbison, Kayla Busby and Orion "Copperhead" Knighten; great grandchildren, Jace Miller, Jasper Miller, Blayklee Busby and Archer Harbison as well as her dog, Hudz.

Visitation for Mrs. Pipkin will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816. There will be a private family service.
