June Allen (Hobby) Skinner, 70, of Austin, Arkansas entered her heavenly rest on July 18, 2026. She was born on June 28, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Wilda and Elmer Hobby. June worked over 30 years at UAMS in Little Rock before retiring in 2019. She treasured every moment spent with her grandsons and great-granddaughter, cheering them on through countless sporting events and dance recitals. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family and making cherished memories. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Along with her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Skinner; and one sister.
She is survived by children, Adam (Betsy) Skinner and Hollie (Stacy) Black; grandsons, Cody Skinner, Bradley (Kathleen) Black, Dylan (Emma) Skinner; one very special great-granddaughter, Lyla Black; as well as a plethora of cousins, extended family, and friends.
There will be a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, 700 N 2nd Street, Cabot, Arkansas. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Everett, at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at the funeral home.
