Kathleen Strawn, 83, of Cabot, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 29, 2024. Born on April 8, 1941, in Stuttgart, Kathleen was a cherished daughter of the late Walter Murphy and Nora Lane Murphy.

Kathleen dedicated many years to a fulfilling career at Remington Arms, from which she proudly retired. Beyond her professional life, she found immense joy in fishing, gardening, and cooking. However, her greatest delight was the time she spent with her beloved family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Leslie (Sonny) Strawn, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lesa Brinker of Cabot, Gary Strawn (Deborah) of Des Arc, Marty Richey (Virginia) of Jacksonville and Gina Richey of Cabot; five grandchildren, Brandy Pritchard, Cassandra Forbes, Jeremy Strawn, Amanda Buck and Carter Averette; fifteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Lois Strawn and Gladys Cline, as well as many extended family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Williams Cemetery in Humphrey, Arkansas. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.
