Kimberly Charlene Hendrix, 48, of Ward, gained her wings and entered the gates of Heaven to be reunited with her son and mother on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.  She was born July 27, 1972 in Little Rock to Alvis and Alice Charlene (Catlett) Hillman.  Kim was employed by Waffle House for thirty-three years.  She was a very hard worker and strong-willed.  She was the boss and it was done the Waffle House way.  Even though Kim had a toughness and strong-will, she also had a heart of gold and her hobby was helping others.  She was a Christian and loved the Lord.  Kim showed that love in being kind, caring, giving and selfless, always putting others before herself.  Kim loved traveling, especially going to the beach, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.  She lived for her children.  Kim was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Rene Garcia (January 22, 2015) and mother, Alice Hillman (December 29, 2007).

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Matthew Russell Hendrix; children, Jonathan Martin Garcia, Jeremy Ryan Garcia, Jazmyne Charlene Hendrix, Aaron Bryce Hendrix and Britt Jordan Hendrix; four grandchildren, Lynnix Rene Charlene Garcia, Madelynn Charlene Garcia, Brayden James Garcia and Carter Wayne Cummings; father and step-mother, Alvis and Brenda Hillman; grandmother, Veda "Bebe" Charlene Catlett; sister, Sheila Dianne Clark (Jonathan); brother, "Bubba" Alvis Letimon Hillman, Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and Waffle House family who she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Grace Fellowship Church with interment to follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock.  Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
