Leon Hale, 92, of Ward, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 in Sherwood. He was born May 16, 1934 in Lamar, Arkansas to the late William Henry Hale and Lou Anne Freeman Hale. Leon was a retired member of the Laborers International Union of America, Local 1282. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, J.C. Hale, Wilma Daniels, Wayne Hale and Devon Hale; a grandson, Matthew Lee Jones and his wife, Geraldine Hale.

Leon is survived by his children, Eric Hale and Deana Jones and three grandchildren, Amber Hale, Michael Hale and Rachel Jones.

Funeral services for Leon will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
