Obituary

Linda Lou Williams Neville, 83, of Cabot, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2024.  She was born August 29, 1940 in Salt Rock, West Virginia. Linda graduated from Wayne High School. She worked in the banking industry until becoming a homemaker. She maintained a meticulous home and was an amazing cook.

Linda was married November 26, 1960 to the love of her life, David, until his unexpected passing on April 15, 2020.  When Linda had a stroke in 2014 and was moved to Spring Creek Nursing Home, David was there each and every day at her side with his full support and their unbreakable relationship.  David and Linda had a love that was like none other. Their devotion to each other was timeless.

Linda loved music, and spent years and years singing in the church choir.  She loved to sit and listen to her daughter play the piano and sing hymns. Although she didn't communicate much the past few years, recently during a visit from her daughter and grandchildren videos of hymns were played. Linda sung every single word! It was a beautiful day.  She was a long-time member of Heritage Baptist Temple in Little Rock. Preceding her in death were her husband, David and mother, Helen Miller.

She is survived by her siblings, Connie Ross and Georgia "Button" Sasser.  Linda had one child, Angela and her husband Angelo of Roanoke, Texas; three grandchildren, David Hapney II, his wife Jessica and their daughter, Ellie Belle of Houston, Texas, Amanda Hapney Delgado, her husband Justin and their children Dylan, Devyn and Dominick of San Antonio, Texas and Caitlyn Hapney of Austin, Texas.  She had many friends throughout her life, but the most near and dear to her was Sandra Bellomy of Huntington, West Virginia.

Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2024 at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-8r3-5816.
