Linda Carol Stallsworth Underwood passed away April 24, 2023, at the age of 74. She was born July 19, 1948, to the late Amos and Elsie Stallsworth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Grover Stallsworth and sister Sue Lee.

Linda was a graduate of North Little Rock High School and a 21-year employee of the Pulaski County Special School District serving children at Bayou Meto Elementary, Jacksonville Elementary and Dupree Elementary. It was her practice to concentrate on each child's strengths and to praise their effort, not results.

Linda was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Cabot. She loved to worship and fellowship with her church family to find a deep and abiding union through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her sons David Underwood of Maryland and Shawn Underwood and wife Monica of Jacksonville. Other survivors include her grandchildren Madison and Cole Underwood of Georgia; brother, Charley Stallsworth and wife Alice of Little Rock; and sisters Nancy Bailey of Cabot and Phyllis Stewart of Scott, along with several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Special to Linda are Paulo Souza and Forbes Blair.

A visitation will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, 12:30 pm-1 pm at Victory Baptist Church, 501 South Lincoln in Cabot and funeral service beginning at 1 pm with Pastor Ben Leonard officiating. Interment will be at Mulberry Cemetery in England, AR. Arrangements by Moore's Funeral Home in Cabot.
