Linda Kay Waymack, 79, passed away October 27, 2021, at her home in Cabot, Arkansas, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born December 4, 1941, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late J.D and Ethel Wood. Linda grew up in Cabot and graduated from Cabot High School in 1959.  She attended Arkansas Tech. In 1961, she married Jerry Waymack, to whom she was married to for 59 years. She was the financial officer at J. D. Wood Implement Company in Lonoke from 1962 to 1988. Along with her husband Jerry and co-partners, Jerry and Shelly Russell, they founded Cabot Lawn and Garden Center in 1974. She also served as a board member at First Commercial Bank. Linda was a lifetime member of Cabot United Methodist Church and active in many of its missions. She hosted many gatherings for her family and friends, and showed great generosity to all. Linda reveled in spending time with her grandchildren and attending all their activities and events.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Waymack; sons, Dan (Whitney) and Darrin Waymack; sister, Sharon (George - deceased) Thompson; twin brother, Larry Wood (Irma); seven grandchildren, Haeden, Mia, Chloé, Harper, True, Rory, Finn, and an extended family of cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

A celebration of her life will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Cabot First United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Joe, George and Curt Thompson, Jeff Wood and niece, Kristen Cunningham.
