Loretha Ann "Rikki" Hedges, 70, of Austin (formally of Texarkana, Texas), passed away Friday, May 3, 2024. She was born November 22, 1953 in Texarkana, Arkansas.  Rikki spent most of her life serving others whether it was working in the service industry, as a CNA in the medical field, or attending to ailing family members. She devoted her life to serving others. She loved the outdoors, but most of all, she loved fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Mildred Bartlett Freeman and her husband, Gary Hedges.

Left to cherish her memory and to miss her dearly are her daughters, Linda Easterling (Doug) of Nash, Texas and Deborah Bean (Dewayne) of Austin, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Laiken Easterling, David Bean (Jamie) and Dalton Easterling; three great-grandchildren, Jayden Harrison, Nykole Bean and Arley Bean, Jr.; three sisters, Sue Suggitt, Wendy Burns (Jerry Lin Burns) and Renee Crawford; brother, Roman Freeman, numerous extended family and friends and her grand-fur babies, George and Bella.

A celebration of life will be 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Spring Lake Park, Pavilion #2 (by the airplane) in Texarkana, Texas. Cremation arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
