Marilyn (Chunky) Moyer, 90, of Cabot passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Marilyn was born October 6, 1934 in Huntsville, Alabama to Issac and Quixey Franklin. She retired from the Department of Finance, State of Arkansas where she worked for AMF Cycle Accounting until it closed in 1980.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, the love of her life, Willis A. (Bill) Moyer; her parents; two brothers, I.C. Franklin, Jr. and Joe Franklin of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Sarah Moore of Black Mountain, North Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Lois Franklin of Tyler, Texas and Naomi Witman of Hamburg, Pennsylvania.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Billy A. Moyer (Jan) of Cabot; daughter, Janet Moyer Glover of Houma, Louisiana; grandsons, Jason Moyer (Meagan) of Cabot and Drew Glover (Bendy) of Little Rock; granddaughter, Tamara Moyer Brown (Keith) of Bee Branch; great grandsons, Blayden Moyer, Otis Glover and Willis Glover; one sister-in-law, Ruby Franklin of Tyler, Texas and a number of nieces and nephews in Texas and Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, the Moyer family requests memorial gifts be made in Marilyn's name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org . Casket escorts will be her grandchildren, their spouses and her great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Robin McClure officiating. Arrangements are by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, (501) 843-5816.
