Martha Anne Kirkpatrick, 78, of Searcy, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023.  She was born December 7, 1944 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late Earnest William and Lizzie Marie Harris Hodges. She worked for many years as an instructor at Foot Hills (now ASU Beebe).  In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Simmons and siblings, Rosemarie Brown, Jim Hodges, Eldon Hodges and Rex Hodges.

Martha is survived by her son, Timothy Casteel and his children, Timarie and Chandler Casteel; son, Vernon Casteel and  his children, Lindsey Edwards (Madison) and Logan Casteel; Sherry's sons, Brian Simmons and Tanner Werley; three great grandchildren; brother, Lee Hodges (Marlene), as well as many extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Magness Cemetery in Heber Springs with Brother Lee Brown officiating. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
