Mary Lou McCollough, 92, of Cabot, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020.  She was born March 19, 1928 in Wolf Bayou, Arkansas to the late Jared Hillman and Mary (Sutherland) Barker.  Mary grew up on a farm and was gathering eggs at a very young age.  She had been a member of Parkhill Presbyterian Church in North Little Rock since 1969.  Mary retired from her career teaching English at Ridge Road Junior High School and accounting at North Little Rock Northeast High School.  She was an amazing seamstress and even made hats for homeless people.  She loved reading, her grandchildren and was an avid fan of the Andy Griffith Show.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude McCollough and her brothers, John Barker and Jared T. Barker.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie McCollough; sons, Paul, Jeff and Patrick McCollough; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Thomas and brother, Joel Barker.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 31, 2020 at Austin Station Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff McCollough officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
