Melisa Kaye Brown, 68, of Cabot, passed away March 31, 2023 after battling cancer. She was born December 20, 1954 in Little Rock to the late James Curtis and Mable Olene Brown. In addition to her parents, Melisa was welcomed into Heaven by her grandchildren, Landon, Emma Grace, and Abigail Martin; her sister, Marilyn Herring, and brothers, Kenneth and James "Jimmy" Brown.

Melisa was an amazing woman with a heart of gold. She made it known that everyone was welcome in her home with open arms and free of judgment. Melisa was not only a mother and grandmother, but a best friend to all. She was strong, independent, and had an unlimited amount of love to give to others. She will be truly missed by all that were lucky enough to have known her.

Those left to cherish the beautiful memories of Melisa include her children, Brandan M. (Leicha) Wilkerson, Michelle R. Jones, and Amanda K. Wilkerson; grandchildren, Emily M. Martin, Katlynn R. Jones, Nevaeh A. Jordan, and Ethan B. Martin; life-long best friend, Rewa Musser; close family friends, Jennifer Lindsey and Tammie Davis; niece, Jamie Schilder, as well as extended family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service, 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
