Michael Scott Davis, 69, of Cabot, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024. He was born February 6, 1955 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to the late Gerald Francis and Natalie LaVonne Melby Davis. Michael was a retired United States Air Force Tech Sergeant, during the Cold War, Mike worked radar in Alaska and various other bases. When stationed at Kincheloe Air Force Base in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, he assisted with the discovery of the SS Edmond Fitzgerald that sank in Lake Superior. He was also an accomplished fly fisherman and a beloved member of Grace Fellowship Church in Cabot. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael is survived by his son, Cory Davis; two grandchildren, Cashton and Kayetlynn; his siblings, Laurie Buchner and her husband Eugene, Patrick Davis and his wife Marcia and Tom Davis and his wife Carol; numerous nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion, Delilah, his black Labrador.  He was also loved by many, was known as a jokester and was especially loved by kids!

There will be two visitation times with the family of Michael Scott Davis:  Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home and then Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Grace Fellowship prior to the Memorial Service.  Memorial services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Grace Fellowship in Cabot.  Inurnment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
