Palik
Oct 27, 1960 — Mar 12, 2025
We are saddened to announce the passing of Michael Anthony Palik, who passed from this life at his home in Cabot on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. He was 64 years old.
Michael was born October 27, 1960 in a town called Suprise, Nebraska to the late Jerome Palik and Marlene Yindrick Palik. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, John Palik and Amy Palik.
Michael was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Robin Kay Taylor Palik. Their unconditional love for one another lasted for forty-three amazing years. He was a loving father of two children, Travis Palik and wife, Heather and Michelle Stewart. Michael had eight siblings, Louise, Julie, Annette, Candy, Joe Palik, Jim Palik, Jerry Palik, and Danny Palik. He had five wonderful grandchildren, Haylee, Madison, Parker, Cannon, Dean and his beloved cat, Grandma Kitty.
Michael was raised in a small town called Surprise, Nebraska. After he graduated high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he then started his career flying as a load master. For the remainder of his military career, he served as one of the instructors at the leadership school located at Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Michael retired in 1995 after seventeen years of dedicated service to his country. He then went on to pursue a career in carpentry, which was one of his great passions, along with many other hobbies that he loved doing. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering around out back in his shop, building tractors, working on his truck, and camping with his beautiful wife, Robin. In his free time, he loved crafting and making handmade knifes. Michael always had a smile on his face. He was a beloved grandfather who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren. Always foreseeing and making sure they had the newest video games or doll to play with! Michael loved telling them jokes, singing and dancing along with them and just being silly with them. He would also make papa's "famous popcorn" that everyone loved to eat! Michael loved serving the Lord and jamming and listening to his Christian music with his wife, Robin. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be cherished in our hearts forever.
