Michael Robert White, 47, of Austin, returned to his Father in Heaven on September 8, 2021. He was born May 10, 1974 in Jacksonville to John Wayne Staten and Andrea Grant White.  Michael was raised by his mother and step-dad, Andrea and Mart.  Michael was a son, a brother and an uncle. He loved to go to church and wanted to help in any way he could. Michael was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a two year mission for the Church in the Vancouver British Columbia and Rapid City, South Dakota Missions, where he shared the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people there. In 1995, Michael joined the Navy and maintained a love of the Navy throughout his life. He enjoyed reading and had a wealth of knowledge about history and sports. Michael wanted more than anything to love and be loved, and because of his acceptance and belief in Jesus Christ, he is experiencing that now in the most powerful and beautiful way imaginable.

Michael is survived by his mother, Andrea White; brother, Brian White; step-brothers, Stoney (Nancy) White and Levi (Molly) White; two nephews, three nieces and his most special friend, Brenda.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at Monk Cemetery.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
