Michal "Mickey" Jean Marple, 76, of Cabot, Arkansas (formerly of Heath, Ohio), passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Mickey was born September 17, 1949, in Newark, Ohio, to the late Mildred Reber and John Reber. She graduated from Heath High School in 1968. As a devoted military spouse, Mickey faithfully followed her late husband throughout his career, living in Delaware, Florida, and Alaska, while raising their family. In addition to being a loving mother, she worked as a legal secretary for more than 30 years.

During her time in Alaska, Mickey enjoyed bowling in a league at Elmendorf Air Force Base and cherished many summers spent camping with family and friends. After leaving Alaska, she and her husband, Fred, enjoyed traveling to visit their daughters and grandchildren. In her quieter moments, Mickey found joy and relaxation in coloring.

In addition to her parents, Mickey was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Frederick Ray Marple.

She is survived by her daughters: Amy Gardner and her husband Scott of Cortland, Ohio; Kristen Amos and her husband Michael of Hanover, Maryland; and Jenna Peirpoint and her husband Brian of Cabot, Arkansas. She was a proud grandmother to Justin and his wife Hannah, Lindsey, Emily and her fiancé Josh, Megan, and Paige, and a cherished great-grandmother to Everett.

Mickey is also survived by her brother, Larry Reber and his wife Becky of Poulsbo, Washington; her sister, Rhoda Capps of Noblesville, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Mickey will be laid to rest alongside her late husband at 9:15 a.m., April 20, 2026 at Ohio Western National Cemetery. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
