Morris Leon Tounzen, 81, of Cabot, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020.  He was born September 18, 1938 in Benoit, Mississippi to the late Albert and Hazel (Miller) Tounzen.  Morris proudly served his country for fourteen years in the United States Army and four years in the United States Marine Corp.  He was a machine operator by trade.  In addition to his parents, Morris was preceded in death by sisters, Donna Ferguson, Maxine Boyd and Thelma Crow and brothers, Albert Tounzen, Jr. and Euthon Tounzen.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty-nine years, Rachel Lorene Tounzen; daughters, Kelli Tounzen and Marsha Moore; sons, Terrance, Brandon, David and Corey Tounzen; nineteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Joe Tounzen and many friends and extended family members.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Grace Fellowship in Cabot with Pastor Alan Alford officiating.  Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.  Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., prior to the services.  The family suggests donations in memory of Morris Tounzen be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
