Nancy Carol
Sullivan
Feb 5, 1947 — Apr 2, 2025
Nancy Carol Sullivan, 78, of Beebe, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025. She was born February 5, 1947 in Black, Missouri to the late Martin and Phoebe Rodgers Douglas. Nancy grew up with six brothers and no sisters (until they were married and added sisters-in-law), so she learned to be tough at a very early age. On September 11, 1965, she married Gerral and then her family really extended. Their union added five brothers-in-law and at least four sisters-in-law and then she really learned to be tough as nails. Nancy enjoyed being picked on and learned to pick back. Minnie and Willie took her in and accepted her as part of their family for many of years.
One of the many great attributes of Nancy was her heart for caring for others. She spent over fifty years working as a caregiver to many people and along the way made a lot of friends and memories. Not only did she take care of them, but she prayed for them, too. Nancy will fondly be remembered for being sweet and kind to everyone (except maybe her children when they made her mad).
She was a member of Cabot Assembly of God Church for over fifty years and was involved as a Sunday School teacher, as well as a leader in the Missionettes program. She loved others, but most of all she loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other children for whom she had a part in raising. Her family will never forget the wonderful times and the best memories with her.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Gerral Sullivan and brothers, Baby Douglas, Riley Douglas, Nathan Douglas, Marvin Douglas, Buster Douglas and Dwight Douglas.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise Sullivan; son, Jerry Sullivan; two grandchildren, Amber Faulk and Dusty Orndorff; two great-grandchildren, Lena and Braden; brother, Richard Douglas; fur baby, Cheyenne and numerous extended family members and friends.
