Pat
Boyett
Jan 25, 1937 — Jul 22, 2020
Pat Boyett, 83, of Cabot, went to be with his Heavenly Father Wednesday, July 22, 2020. He was born January 25, 1937 in Springhill, Louisiana to the late Lacy and Julia Boyett. Pat was a graduate of Springhill High School. He loved his family with all his heart and cherished every moment he had with them. Pat was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, always providing fruits of his garden to his children, family, and friends. He took pride in growing the best tomatoes, shelling peas and shucking corn in the summer season. Pat enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. From the basketball court to the soccer fields he was his grandkids' biggest fan. He proudly served as an active member at McArthur Assembly of God Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. In addition, Pat was the one to find humor in everyday life. He gifted all his children and grandchildren with nicknames specific for them. Pat was always ready with a smile and a quick witted response. He had a way to make your day.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lovie Darlene Boyett of Cabot; daughters, Melissa Rae Boyett (Dennis) Smith of Cabot and Marjorie Lucinda (Cindy) Boyett Shands of Searcy; Norman Lacy Boyett of Lonoke; grandchildren, Lauren Paige (Tucker) Leech, Laci Michelle (Tyler) Tarrant, Kiley Rae Smith, KeLeigh Shaye Shands, Lake Phillip Boyett and Julia Eleese Shands; great-grandchildren, Waylon James Leech and Bayler Kate Tarrant; siblings, Ruby Arney of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Jack Boyett of Sarepta, Louisiana and Billy Boyett of Springhill, Louisiana, as well as many friends and extended family members.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot with pastors Marc Bateman and Win Callison officiating. The family suggests donations be made in memory of Pat Boyett to McArthur Assembly of God Church Senior Adult Program, 3501 John Harden Dr., Jacksonville, AR 72076. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
