Obituary

Rebecca Odile (Eagle) Wilson, 90, of Cabot, passed away May 20, 2021.  She was born May 10, 1931 in Lonoke to the late William Dike and Maydell (Rowe) Eagle.  Rebecca graduated from Midway High School.  She was co-owner of the Cabot Fabric Center and was an exceptional seamstress until her retirement.  Above all, Rebecca was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a lifetime member of Mount Zion Methodist Church and Country Chapel.  Rebecca enjoyed each day with her husband of sixty-five years, George Isaac Wilson.  Together they enjoyed traveling, especially to Branson, singing and completing projects for the church.  They developed and managed Wilson Rentals during their retirement years.  Rebecca enjoyed watching sports and was a true Razorback fan.  She was a forty year survivor of breast cancer.  In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, George; sister, Betty Magness; brothers, Bill and George Eagle; brothers-in-law, Jack Walker, Jimmy Taylor and James Magness and nephews, Jerry Magness, Donnie Taylor and Randy Walker.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Brenda (Roger) Davidson; son, Steve (Susan) Wilson; grandchildren, Jamie (Corey) Simmons, Clint (Julie) Davidson, Michelle Wilson and Susan (Jeff) Fugatt; great-grandchildren, Alicea Davidson, Lane Davidson, Abby Davidson, Jackson Eubanks and Ryan Fugatt; great-great grandson, Sage Anderson; sisters, Doris Walker and Rose Taylor; sisters-in-law, Virginia Eagle and Peggy Eagle and numerous extended family members and friends.

Rebecca's family would like to thank her private caregivers, Kim and Sandy, and Kindred Hospice staff, Debra, Stephanie, Brandi and Chaplain Ted for their dedication, compassion and constant support throughout her journey.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Hicks Cemetery with Steve Zumalt officiating. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
