Richard Lee Armstrong, 75, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023.  He was born July 10, 1948 in Collinsville, Illinois to the late Oscar and Elizabeth Geisen.  Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, from which he retired.  He then worked as an administrator for the Department of Veteran Affairs, from which he also retired after twenty years of service.  Richard was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed passing his time listening to music and watching old westerns.  He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandi L. Armstrong; sister, Janet Armstrong and brother, Jack Armstrong.

Survivors include his children, Cynthia R. Porter (Steven), Christopher L. Armstrong (Tammie) and Michael T. Armstrong; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Betty Jane Carlson and Jean Radford, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 17, 2023 at Mount Carmel Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.  If you would like to make a donation in memory of Richard Lee Armstrong, the family suggests Hope's Closet, 535 S Rockwood Dr., Cabot, AR  72023.
